SSR International Airport, Mauritius

SSR (Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam) International Airport is the primary international airport in Mauritius. Guangzhou Xingyuan Home Furnishing Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as XINGYUAN HOME) delivered and installed all the public fire-rated doors during the construction of the new passenger terminal.

The new Airport Terminal is seamlessly connected to the existing terminal and boasts a capacity of 4 million passengers. With thousands of passengers anticipated to traverse through daily, XINGYUAN HOME had to adhere to stringent fire safety codes for a diverse range of 25 distinct door openings, including some 90-minute rated 8-foot high doors. Furthermore, the door hardware was engineered to integrate seamlessly with the central locking system, necessitating utmost precision in both door manufacturing and on-site installation. XINGYUAN HOME not only achieved the desired functional performance but also successfully replicated the aesthetic of real wood on all materials, beautifully complementing the doors and other interior millwork.
